We are seeking sponsorships to ensure that the Rocky Mountain Children’s law Center can continue to serve Colorado’s most vulnerable children. Below please find sponsorship opportunities and benefits. We encourage you to visit www.rockymountainchildrenslawcenter.org to learn more about how your contribution will change the lives of abused and neglected children.

We are excited to announce that 100% of the 2011 celebration proceeds will benefit the Rocky Mountain Children’s Law Center. The mission of this 501(c) (3) nonprofit is to protect and save the lives of Colorado’s abused and neglected children through legal advocacy, innovative programs and public policy reform. Children’s Law Center staff attorneys are appointed by courts to protect the best interests of children removed from abusive homes, and work to ensure that these children are not separated from their siblings, denied medical or mental health treatment, or flounder in the state system for more than one year. Children who do not have this support and are at great risk:

  • Only 46% graduate high school, compared to 84% of the general public
  • 20% become homeless, and 27% of the entire homeless population spent time in foster care
  • 25% are incarcerated within two years of leaving the system
  • Girls who spent time in foster care are six times more likely to have a child before the age of 21
